Can Sacha Inchi Oil be used for cooking?
Due to the oil’s high content of naturally occurring tocopherols (vitamin E), Sacha Inchi oil is able to withstand cooking over low- to medium-high heat (not for prolonged heating). The tocopherols make the oil highly resistant to oxidation. This means that Sacha Inchi oil is suitable for baking, roasting and stir-frying while adding healthy Omega-3 to your cooked dishes. Some studies have also demonstrated Sacha Inchi oil’s heat stability and its potential to be used as a cooking oil.
