Nature’s Superfoods’ Organic Turmeric Powder is naturally of a higher curcumin percentage - minimum 4-6% curcumin (lab-tested) so that you get only the best quality. Common commercially available turmeric powder contains only 2-3% curcumin. No artificial colors, fillers, additives, preservatives have been added. Our Turmeric Powder, which comes from India, is not just popular in curries, but it has a very long history of medicinal use, dating back thousands of years – with roots in Indian Traditional Ayurvedic medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine.

TURMERIC: Its main benefit comes from its anti-inflammatory qualities due to compounds called curcuminoids - Curcumin is the primary curcuminoid in turmeric and is also the key ingredient responsible for its therapeutic properties. Curcumin is also a strong antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals and stimulate the body’s own antioxidant mechanisms.

It is good to note that Curcumin, on its own, is not easily absorbed in the body. It is recommended that to maximize absorption, Turmeric should be consumed with small amounts of black pepper, in a dish/meal with healthy fats (olive oil, coconut oil, avocado, etc).

Please rest assured this superfood has been lab-tested for heavy metals.
