4) Cook your favorite recipe with Goji Berries, or add to soups (which is common in Chinese cuisine). Our Goji will make your soups deliciously sweet.
Recommended daily serving : A handful or 10-15 berries
Storage: Store the product in a dry, dark place. It is best to keep it refrigerated. Please note that organic, sulfite-free goji berries (as well as any organic dried fruit) may tend to clump together, particularly in hot and humid weather. To reduce stickiness, we recommend refrigerating the berries. For an extended shelf life, you can freeze the berries in a sealed pack.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What makes these goji berries different from others on the Singapore market?
They are supersized and naturally sweet goji berries that are grown organically at high altitudes in the pollution-free Tibetan Plateau of China, where they are watered by melted snow water and bask in lots of sunshine (sun-dried). The naturally sweet taste is uniquely different from the taste of dried goji berries in medicinal shops in Singapore, and can be eaten directly as a delightful snack.
2. Are these goji berries organic, sulfite-free, vegan-friendly?
Yes, our goji berries are certified organic (USDA, EU), halal and vegan. They are also free from sulfites, gluten, preservatives, and have passed heavy metal tests.
3. What are the key health benefits of goji berries?
Goji berries are known as a "superfood" due to their nutritional density, and have been used in TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) for thousands of years to support eye health, strengthen immunity, prevent chronic diseases, protect liver & kidney functions as well as for their anti-aging effects by increasing the total antioxidant activity in the human body.
4. Are goji berries suitable for everyone?
Yes, goji berries are generally safe to be consumed by most people, and do not usually cause any side effects or adverse reactions in healthy people.
5. Can goji berries help with specific health concerns?
Several studies have shown that goji berries can help with eye health by slowing age-related macular degeneration (AMD), reducing the risk of cataracts, and preventing irreversible loss of central vision in older people. A handful of berries (10-15 berries) a day can increase the density of protective pigments (lutein and zeaxanthin) in the eyes.
