Nature’s Superfoods’ Organic Muesli Porridge is specially crafted from superfood ingredients by our nutrition team. This whole grain cereal mix is made from 100% wholesome, plant-based, gluten-free, certified organic superfood ingredients. It is low in natural sugars and is highly nutrient-dense for the whole family providing good amounts of complete protein, Omega 3 fatty acids, dietary fiber and antioxidants.
QUINOA: High-protein, high-fiber whole grain that contains all 9 essential amino acids (including lysine), B vitamins, folate, calcium, magnesium, a diverse array of antioxidants and many more nutrients; known for its high amount of superior protein (12-18%), which is higher than all other grains (50% more than wheat). Quinoa is highly recommended as a great recovery food in fitness programs and in the sports circle.
CHIA SEEDS: Packed with Omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and dietary fibre. Chia contains 5 times more calcium than milk and 34 times more antioxidants than blueberries. The seeds have about 20% of complete protein with all essential amino acids (EFAs) that our body cannot produce on its own.
RAW CACAO NIBS: Rich in Flavonoids, Polyphenols, Magnesium, Sulfur, Good Fats, Minerals and Vitamins. Flavonoid antioxidants in cacao have significant benefits for the cardiovascular system. Raw Cacao contains high amounts of bliss nutrients that lift one’s mood, for example PEA – the adrenal-related chemical that our bodies produce when we fall in love, and anandamide – an endorphin that the human body naturally produces after exercise.
YACON ROOT: Yacon Root (an Andean tuber) is known for being a pre-biotic superfood with very high content of FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides). FOS, a dietary fiber that is not metabolized by the body, stimulates the growth and function of “good” bacteria in the intestine – this helps promote a healthy, clean digestive track, and boosts the immune system.
MULBERRIES: Dried White Mulberries are an excellent source of nutrients including iron, calcium, vitamin C, protein and fiber. Also contain potent anti-aging antioxidants such as anthocyanins and resveratrol. Mulberries are also rich in B-complex group of vitamins (vitamin B-6, niacin, riboflavin and folic acid) and vitamin K.
GOJI BERRIES: Antioxidant-rich berries, containing Vitamin C, beta-carotenoids, zeaxanthin, lutein, lycopene, vitamin B complex and over 30 essential and trace elements. Goji berries contain all the 9 essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. It is also known for its unique polysaccharides called Lycium barbarum polysaccharides.
How To Use:
1) Simply add 1 serving of 50g (5 tablespoons) of muesli to a cup of hot water or milk or hot beverage.
Stir, break clumps, enjoy! Top with fresh fruit if desired.
