Can pregnant ladies consume raw cacao?
Cacao is packed with zinc, iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, flavonoids which are all beneficial nutrients for supporting the mothers adrenal and immune health during pregnancy. However, as with all good stuff, we recommend consuming cacao in moderation, according to serving recommendations. 2-3 teaspoons a day for adults is good. Cacao is a safer, gentler alternative to coffee.
