Raw Cacao-Oat Bites

Ingredients

2 cups of oatmeal
1/2 cup cacao butter
1/3 cup yacon syrup (or raw honey)
1/4 cup ground chia seeds
1/4 of dried cranberries or raisins
¼ of raw cacao nibs
1/4 cup of instant organic quinoa powder (or raw cacao powder)
1 tsp vanilla
Ceylon Cinnamon, or other spices (as desired)

Preparation Method

  1. First melt the cacao butter in a steel bowl over a large pot of hot water. (Cacao butter melts at temperatures around 34-38 °C).
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, then put mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Once the mixture is chilled, roll into small balls.
  4. You can include whatever you desire into Raw Cacao-Oat Bites.
  5. You’ll need the oats, yacon syrup (or healthy liquid sweetener) and the cacao butter to hold it together but other than that you can add other ingredients like nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit, coconut flakes, etc.
  6. Eat it as a healthy mid-morning or afternoon tea or even as a dessert.
