PROATS (Protein + Oats) is not your typical plain oatmeal breakfast! It offers much more health benefits. Proats is specially crafted to give you a quick, tasty breakfast that is high in protein, low in sugar, and packed with the complete set of B vitamins (including B12) from nutritional yeast and prebiotic fibres for a healthy gut.
GLUTEN-FREE OATS: Oats are among the most nutrient-dense foods one can eat. They are a good source of complex carbs and fibres, including the powerful fibres beta-glucan, which has been shown in various studies to be beneficial for blood sugar levels, cholesterol levels, and protects against heart diseases. The oats in our Proats are certified free from gluten.
NUTRITIONAL YEAST: There are different types of nutritional yeast, and we have selected the best kind for PROATS, the kind that has a full spectrum of B vitamins including Cobalamin (B12). Vitamin B12 is important for vegans as it is generally not present in plant foods and is naturally found in animal foods. General physical symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency can include weakness, tiredness, lightheadedness, heart palpitations, nerve problems like numbness or tingling, among others. Daily intake of essential B vitamins is important to ensure optimum energy levels and muscle building / recovery process. Additionally, it is also rich in complete protein (with all 9 essential amino acids), dietary fibres, zinc, selenium, magnesium, iron, and calcium.
AGAVE INULIN: Inulin is a soluble or dietary fibres found in the root of the agave plant and acts as a prebiotic in our body. These prebiotic fibres help the good bacteria grow in our gut, which leads to improved digestion and strengthens the immune system. Agave inulin is also known for weight control as it helps to keep your stomach full, thereby reducing appetite.
How To Enjoy:
Just add 3-4 tablespoons (40g) to 250ml warm water or milk (plant-based milk preferred). It makes a quick pleasant breakfast for the whole family!
