Yacon Root Slices
Yacon root is a crisp, sweet-tasting tuberous root, grown in the Andes (Peru & Ecuador). It is a natural dietetic and prebiotic superfood with high amounts of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), a kind of carbohydrate that help feed the beneficial bacteria that the intestines need, and yet pass through the intestines undigested.
