How To Use:
1) Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a pot. Add 1 cup amaranth
2) Cover, reduce heat and simmer until water is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
3) Use immediately, or store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
If you wish to have other grains in your meals, you can add amaranth seeds to rice or quinoa, and cook the mixture in a rice cooker. The same grain-to-water ratio applies, just like when cooking rice. The mixture of these whole grains with rice will lower the Glycemic index of the meal, which is very much better for your blood sugar level
